I was lucky enough to have the company of a great girl for a Trash the Dress fashion shoot.
'Trash the Dress' was initially an American idea, but it has now started becoming more popular over here. And why not? The cake and the champagne are all but a memory. What a great excuse for brides to wear their treasured wedding dress again and have beautiful fashion photographs taken as a memory of another brilliant outing.
Julie is a terribly busy lady. Not only is she a Personal Trainer, but she is also an avid fundraiser and events organiser. Not to mention that she is a Mum of four wonderful kids.
Our shoot started at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum in Cultra.
Right from the off, Julie was open to any suggestions that would help us create some fabulous images. Actually is was her idea to jump up here :
We were so fortunate that the weather was kind to us - but poor Julie was terribly uncomplaining in the cold January wind on the beach.
My assistant for the week AJ ( a work experience student ) was able to get first hand understanding of how a shoot works, from start to finish. We had an absolute blast and I cannot thank Julie enough for making the session such fun and a great learning experience for AJ.
Why not make your dress happy and book yourself in for an exciting photo session.

Cai,
ReplyDeleteI really do not know what to say you have done amazingly!
The whole experience has been a true pleasure, I felt so very comfortable with you and thoroughly enjoyed every second of the day.
To put on the dress, spend the day enjoying making fresh memories and capturing them is a priceless gift. Thank you for being both forthcoming with your ideas and receptive to mine, I think the result is a beautiful reflection of our goals for the day.
The final shot.....Perfect....speechless isn't somewhere I frequently find myself however I find myself there now.
I couldn't recommend you highly enough, you were outstanding.
